Baby Memorial Hospital Implements Dozee's Continuous Connected Care Initiative For Enhanced Patient Safety

In a significant move towards advancing patient safety and healthcare standards, Baby Memorial Hospital in Kozhikode has launched the ‘Continuous Connected Care@BMH’ initiative in collaboration with Dozee, a leading Made-in-India technology provider. This pioneering initiative equips all ward beds at Baby Memorial Hospital with Dozee's state-of-the-art AI-powered Remote Patient Monitoring and Early Warning System, the company said in a press statement on Tuesday.

The implementation of the ‘Continuous Connected Care@BMH’ initiative underscores Baby Memorial Hospital's commitment to leveraging  technology for the benefit of its patients. 

Dozee's technology enables healthcare providers to remotely monitor vital parameters such as heart rate, respiration rate, blood pressure, SPO2 levels, temperature, and ECG in real time. The Early Warning System (EWS) incorporated in Dozee tracks vital parameter trends and alerts healthcare professionals to potential clinical deterioration, allowing for proactive intervention.

Dr Vineeth Abraham, Director of Baby Memorial Hospital, expressed enthusiasm about the initiative, emphasising its potential to revolutionise patient care and save lives. He highlighted the hospital's commitment to providing accessible, affordable, and quality healthcare to all patients, and commended the partnership with Dozee as a significant step towards achieving this goal.
