CAHO Masterclass for Startups: Nurturing Innovation in Healthcare

The CAHO Masterclass for Startups, taking place on 25 October 2024 at the J.N. Tata Auditorium, will provide a comprehensive roadmap for healthcare entrepreneurs looking to bring their innovations to market. This full-day event features insightful sessions led by industry experts, addressing key areas such as market entry, regulatory guidelines, and financial strategy.

The day began with Dr. Raghu Dharmarajan discussing the journey of MedTech startups, from idea inception to market entry. Dr. Lakshmi Jaganath will follow with a session on statutory requirements and guidelines specifically for healthcare startups in India. Dr. Sumirtha Gandhi covered the topic healthcare technology assessment, followed by a tea break. The program will resume with Sumedh leading a detailed session on clinical validation in hospitals for new medical devices.

As per the agenda, financial wisdom will be shared by Sameer Mehta from 12:30 PM to 01:15 PM, focusing on pricing and fundraising. After lunch, the afternoon sessions will delve into post-proof-of-concept strategies with Bharat Gera, and practical guides for clinician confidence in piloting new technologies by Dr. Manzoor Shaik.

Innovation and entrepreneurship, essential elements for healthcare startups, will be discussed by  Anand Kannan, and the day will conclude with Dr. Vijay Agarwal sharing insights on the Health Directory and the benefits of CAHO.

The masterclass will wrap up with a Q&A session, providing attendees with an opportunity to engage with the experts and clarify their queries.
