Deepinder Goyal, the co-founder and CEO of Zomato, has unveiled his latest personal venture, Continue—a startup dedicated to health tracking and mental well-being. Goyal, known for his interest in health optimisation, is now applying that passion to his own entrepreneurial journey.

Incorporated in April 2024 under the name Upslope Advisors, Continue remains in its early stages, with Goyal as the majority stakeholder. He is joined by Ashish Goel, a former executive at both Zomato and Blinkit, who also serves as a director. The startup is poised to explore innovative ways to enhance personal wellness, with Goyal personally investing Rs 50 lakh to kickstart the initiative, as revealed by Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) filings.

Announcing the venture on the social platform X, Goyal stated, “Continue is currently my personal health and wellness team, entirely funded by me. We’re focused on tracking and researching strategies to keep me operating at peak performance. Spending time with the Continue team feels like a workout itself, helping me avoid unnecessary doctor visits.”

While Continue.com is being promoted as “The Ultimate Health Tracker,” detailed information about the startup’s services is yet to be disclosed. Goyal hinted that the team is in the process of developing new wellness insights and aims to share their findings with the public once sufficient research is completed.

This new venture aligns with Goyal’s broader interest in wellness technology. In 2021, he invested $10 million in Ultrahuman, a health-tracking wearables startup backed by Alpha Wave. Zomato has also been actively promoting employee well-being, appointing a Chief Fitness Officer in 2023 to foster a culture of fitness within the organisation.

The launch of Continue comes at a time when Zomato is diversifying beyond its core food delivery business. With its recent acquisition of Paytm Insider, the company entered the events and ticketing space with the launch of its District vertical. Zomato’s portfolio now includes its primary food delivery service, quick commerce platform Blinkit, B2B vertical Hyperpure, and District for events.

As Goyal pushes forward with Continue, blending wellness optimisation with emerging technology, the startup is expected to draw significant attention from industry leaders focused on performance enhancement through data-driven health solutions.
