The HCAH Rehab & Recovery Centre in Kolkata has achieved a significant milestone by earning the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) entry-level accreditation.
In a press statement on Tuesday, the healthcare service provider said that this achievement makes it the first rehabilitation and recovery centre in East India to secure this prestigious certification, positioning the facility to address the rehabilitation needs of West Bengal’s 91 million people and the 46 million residents of Northeast India.
The NABH accreditation is awarded after a rigorous assessment of healthcare facilities, evaluating various aspects such as patient care, infrastructure, and operational procedures.
