HCG announced the launch of outpatient (OPD) consultations in Goa, expanding access to specialised cancer treatments for local patients. In collaboration with local hospitals, leading oncologists including Dr Raghunath SK, Senior Consultant in Uro-Oncology, and Dr Natraj, Senior Consultant Hematology and BMT from HCG Cancer Centre Bangalore, will provide weekly OPD consultations at Campal Clinic, St Inez, Miramar, Panjim, and Royal Hospital, Aquem, Margao. This initiative offers world-class cancer care to patients in Goa, closer to home.
The OPD services will be offered under the Mediclaim Goa Scheme, covering advanced treatments such as robotic surgery, CyberKnife, tomotherapy, bone marrow transplants (BMT), nuclear medicine (NMD), and more. This government-backed scheme ensures patients can access cutting-edge treatments without upfront costs, significantly easing financial and logistical burdens.
