Addressing Challenges and Opportunities

Discussing international patients’ challenges, Dr. Mahajan outlines key areas: “The four pillars of medical tourism—institutions, patients, facilitators, and government agencies—must work together to address issues like foreign currency exchange, dietary needs, and local laws.”

Manisha Kumar, COO of Healthcare Global Enterprises, underscores the need for strategic partnerships. “India’s healthcare ecosystem, with its high-end expertise and cutting-edge technology, offers immense opportunities for collaboration,” she remarks.
