Lip-Bu Tan, Chairman of Walden International and Founding Managing Partner at Walden Catalyst Ventures, has joined the advisory board of 4baseCare, a company renowned for its precision oncology solutions.
In a press statement on Wednesday, the company informed that with over three decades of experience in deep-tech venture capital, Lip-Bu Tan is a leading figure in the global tech industry. Beyond his roles at Walden International and Walden Catalyst Ventures, he is the anchor investor and advisor at Yali Capital, the venture fund that spearheaded 4baseCare's USD 6 million Series A funding round.
Lip-Bu Tan's influence extends into the healthcare sector as well. He is a member of the Health Executive Council at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), and serves as Chairman at Greenstone Biosciences, a company revolutionising drug discovery, and Artera, a firm specializing in AI-enabled cancer diagnostics.
