Medical Dialogues Joins WHO’s Vaccine Safety Net

This inclusion ensures that people worldwide have access to trustworthy information, enabling informed decisions about vaccination

Medical Dialogues, a medical portal in India, has been inducted into the World Health Organization’s (WHO) Vaccine Safety Net (VSN). The VSN is a global network of websites vetted by the WHO for providing reliable and scientifically accurate information on vaccine safety. This inclusion ensures that people worldwide have access to trustworthy information, enabling informed decisions about vaccination.

Medical Dialogues hosts a dedicated vaccine hub offering evidence-based information to doctors, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders in India. This portal combats vaccine misinformation by presenting the latest findings from research and clinical trials, updates on immunisation practices, and guidelines from recognised medical authorities. It features articles, expert opinions, and educational content such as webinars, Continuing Medical Education (CME), and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programs.

Meghna A Singhania, Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Medical Dialogues, emphasised the importance of their mission, stating, “There is a lot of disinformation and misinformation surrounding vaccination. At Medical Dialogues, we aim to provide the most updated and relevant medical information in the field of vaccination. Joining the WHO’s Vaccine Safety Net is a significant milestone because it strengthens our commitment to fighting this misinformation and promoting public health with verified, reliable, evidence-based content.”

Prem Aggarwal, Co-Founder and Chairman of Medical Dialogues, expressed gratitude for the recognition, adding, “We are grateful to the WHO team for including us in the Vaccine Safety Network from India. This recognition motivates us to enhance our efforts in providing accurate and comprehensive information about vaccines so that people can make informed choices about their health.”
