OpenText™ has introduced the Partner Enterprise Learning Subscription at OpenText World 2024. This initiative aims to empower Partners with the skills needed to excel at scale, while providing customers with assurance that their chosen Partner is equipped with the requisite product expertise.
The programme reflects OpenText's commitment to strengthening its Partner Network, making it easier for Partners to enhance, expand, and sustain their practices. It offers a cost-effective solution for addressing skill gaps, resolving capacity constraints, and gaining insight into skill sets across geographically dispersed teams. By adopting a just-in-time, on-demand learning approach, the subscription promises to streamline skill acquisition.
The subscription provides unlimited access to self-paced training, hands-on lab environments, and certification vouchers. Integrated training analytics enables Partners to track content consumption and skill acquisition, offering a clear view of certifications held by practitioners, products, or even by region. This transparency is particularly significant as OpenText now mandates product certification for practitioners in Partner organisations handling product installation, customisation, and other technical roles.
Joel Kremke, Senior Vice President of Channel and Alliances at OpenText, emphasised the importance of equipping Partners with the necessary expertise, “Empowering our Partners to deliver exceptional customer outcomes is key to our mutual success. By ensuring their teams are thoroughly trained and certified, we enable Partners to stand out in competitive bids. Customers, in turn, can confidently select Partners with the right expertise to deliver successful outcomes.”
Enhancing Partner Visibility
As part of its efforts to support the Partner ecosystem, OpenText is also relaunching its Partner Directory on OpenText.com. This directory will display the certifications held by each Partner organisation, making it easier for customers to identify skilled practitioners and for Partners to differentiate themselves in their markets.
By prioritising Partner readiness to implement and support OpenText products, the company is taking steps to secure optimal results for its customers globally.
