Park Hospital Palam Vihar Enhances Medical Care With New Technology & Specialised Services

The Palam Vihar branch has made substantial investments in its facilities, particularly in cardiology, where Dr. Mishra and his team offer advanced interventions, including angioplasty with techniques like rotablation and intravascular lithotripsy (IVL)

Park Hospital's Palam Vihar branch is raising the bar for patient care, employing new technology and specialised services to meet diverse healthcare needs.

The healthcare provider in a press statement on Tuesday  said that since its establishment in 2021, the facility has transformed into a hub for advanced medical care, supported by a dedicated team led by CEO Dr. (Brig.) Satish Chandra Mishra, a cardiology expert with decades of experience.

The Palam Vihar branch has made substantial investments in its facilities, particularly in cardiology, where Dr. Mishra and his team offer advanced interventions, including angioplasty with techniques like rotablation and intravascular lithotripsy (IVL). The branch is also equipped for non-surgical valve replacements and utilises Leadless Pacemakers (MICRA) for patients needing pacemaker support. A 24-hour Cath Lab enables timely treatment for heart attacks, reinforcing the hospital's readiness to respond to emergencies.

In addition to cardiology, the facility has established units for stroke management and bariatric surgery, areas where the hospital has seen encouraging patient outcomes. The stroke unit offers a range of services for immediate care, while the bariatric program has reported initial weight loss results, providing a new option for weight management within a clinical setting.

The hospital’s services now also include a kidney transplant program, developed to support patients with end-stage renal disease. The recent success of a complex transplant case in a high-risk patient reflects the hospital's focus on addressing challenging medical needs. Furthermore, Park Hospital has integrated robotic systems in urology, gynaecology, and general surgery, allowing for more precision during procedures and potentially shorter recovery times for patients.

"Our recent upgrades, such as the kidney transplant program and robotic surgery technology, underscore our ongoing efforts to deliver high-quality, efficient care," Dr. Mishra stated. "Our infrastructure and expertise continue to evolve, driven by a commitment to improve patient outcomes."

With additional resources, including a three-Tesla MRI and advanced oncology facilities, Park Hospital's Palam Vihar branch has become a comprehensive medical centre, drawing patients from both national and international locations for complex treatments.
