SRM Global Hospitals has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Global Doctors - Malaysia, part of the Global Doctors Alliance, to provide specialised medical treatment for patients from Malaysia and other Asia Pacific countries in Chennai. The Global Doctors Alliance is a network of internationally renowned medical practice groups in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, Turkey, and China.
In a press statement on Thursday the hospital chain informed that under this agreement, SRM Global Hospitals will offer teleconsultations and share clinical knowledge with Global Doctors’ healthcare professionals. The partnership aims to attract medical tourists primarily for treatments in cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, neurology, gastroenterology, and orthopedics.
The MoU signing ceremony was attended by key representatives from Global Doctors, including Dato' Dr Sharifah Fauziah Alhabshi, Executive Chairman, Dr Navindra Nageswaran, Medical & Managing Director, Ms. Suhaila Mohd Kassim, COO & DON, Ms. Nagiah Alidrus, Manager at Top Glove Global Doctors Medical Centre, Malaysia, and Mr. Mohamed Sahriff, Director of Medical & Business Development.
