33% Of Healthcare SMEs Leverage Big Data For Diagnostic Innovation: TTBS Study

Cloud technology is at the forefront of this transformation, enabling healthcare and pharmaceutical SMEs to navigate the challenges of an ever-evolving landscape

India’s healthcare sector is experiencing a wave of digital transformation, fueled by robust digital infrastructure and economic growth. According to the latest ‘SME Digital Insights’ study by Tata Tele Business Services (TTBS) in collaboration with CyberMedia Research (CMR), 33 per cent of healthcare SMEs are utilising big data analytics to achieve diagnostic breakthroughs, while 31 per cent view artificial intelligence (AI) as a critical tool for streamlining operations and accelerating drug discovery. Furthermore, 40 per cent of surveyed healthcare SMEs believe that cloud adoption is essential for enhancing security compliance.

Cloud technology is at the forefront of this transformation, enabling healthcare and pharmaceutical SMEs to navigate the challenges of an ever-evolving landscape. By improving efficiency, optimising costs, and securing sensitive data, cloud solutions are proving to be pivotal for these businesses.

TTBS is playing a crucial role in this digital shift, offering innovative cloud and collaborative solutions that help healthcare and pharmaceutical clients overcome operational challenges and drive growth. For example, TTBS provided a fast-growing diagnostic and precision medicine company with an MPLS-based Smart VPN, creating an integrated network with seamless connectivity across its branches. Similarly, a pharmaceutical company operating in India and Germany required a scalable and secure communication solution, which TTBS delivered through an MPLS Hub and Spoke topology with centralised internet management.

The adoption of cloud technology is reshaping healthcare SMEs by streamlining workflows, automating tasks, and centralising data management, enabling these businesses to focus more on research and patient care. Additionally, cloud solutions optimise costs by eliminating upfront hardware expenses and reducing ongoing maintenance while strengthening data security.

By embracing cloud technology and partnering with trusted advisors like TTBS, healthcare SMEs are unlocking new opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and patient-centric care.
