Dr. Bipin Chevale Appointed CEO Of Gleneagles Hospitals, Mumbai

Previously, Dr. Chevale held various leadership roles, including Director and Head at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Navi Mumbai, from December 2019 to September 2024

Dr. Bipin Chevale has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Gleneagles Hospitals, located in Parel, Mumbai. 

With over 23 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Dr. Chevale brings his expertise to lead one of western India’s most renowned multi-organ transplant centres.

Previously, Dr. Chevale held various leadership roles, including Director and Head at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Navi Mumbai, from December 2019 to September 2024. He has also served as the Chief Operating Officer at Seven Hills Hospital and as the CEO and Zonal Director of S L Raheja Hospital. He began his healthcare leadership career as the Medical Superintendent of Bombay Hospital, where he worked for 11 years.

Dr. Chevale shared the news of his new position on his LinkedIn profile, stating, "Excited to share that I have joined Gleneagles Hospital Mumbai as the Chief Executive Officer! Together with the talented and dedicated team at Gleneagles, we aim to raise the bar even higher for excellence in healthcare."

Holding a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Hospital and Healthcare Management from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and an SMP from IIM Calcutta, Dr. Chevale is known for his strategic leadership in healthcare management.

On his appointment, Dr. Chevale expressed, “Joining Gleneagles Hospital Mumbai as the CEO is an exciting opportunity that promises a new chapter in our mission for world-class healthcare.
