UAE's fitness rewards app, Fitze, has officially launched in India, marking a significant milestone in its global expansion.
In a press statement on Monday, the company informed that through an exclusive partnership with Iffort, a prominent technology and digital marketing partner for global brands, Fitze aims to introduce its innovative wellness solution to a broader audience in the Indian market. This expansion opens up substantial business growth and investment opportunities for both companies.
Fitze’s journey in the UAE has been marked by success, achieving Pre-Series A funding of USD 750K in 2021, and becoming self-sustaining and profitable. Its role as one of the app partners for the Dubai Fitness Challenge in 2022 and 2023 underlines its influence in promoting health and fitness in the region. Currently, Fitze is experiencing a 15 per cent monthly growth rate, with corporate participation increasing by 5-7 per cent month on month.
Sunny Jindal, Co-founder of Iffort India & UAE, expressed his excitement about the collaboration, stating, "As Fitze's technology partner for over five years, we’re thrilled to deepen our collaboration and launch Fitze’s innovative fitness rewards program in India. This partnership highlights our commitment to enhancing well-being and engagement, addressing the growing demand for health-focused solutions in the Indian market."
Subrahmanian Seshadri, CEO of Fitze India, emphasised the strategic timing of the expansion, noting, "The partnership comes at a pivotal time, as the global health and fitness market continues its rapid growth. This presents a tremendous opportunity for us to bring a transformative wellness experience to India and firmly position Fitze as a leader in this sector."
Fitze’s founders, Ben and Neha Samuel, both Indian entrepreneurs, expressed their pride in bringing the app to India. "As Indian entrepreneurs, bringing Fitze to India is our proud homecoming. In a country that's embracing wellness and healthy living more than ever, we see Fitze as a way to encourage and reward that commitment. By turning daily steps into valuable rewards, we aim to inspire people across India to stay active and prioritise their health in a fun and engaging way," they said.
