Getinge, a medtech company has launched its latest innovations in surgical equipment, the Maquet Corin operating room (OR) table and the Maquet Ezea surgical light.
In a press statement on Tuesday, the company informed that these new products are designed to enhance efficiency and safety in surgical environments, featuring advanced technology and user-friendly design.
The Maquet Corin OR table introduces an intuitive interface aimed at streamlining surgical workflows and improving team coordination. Gregory Pinaton, Vice President of Manufacturing Surgical Workflows at Getinge, emphasised the company's commitment to high-quality innovation. “Corin embodies our values of innovation and expertise, developed with the Design for Manufacturing concept to ensure top-notch safety and quality,” said Pinaton.
Stéphane Le Roy, President of Surgical Workflows at Getinge, praised Maquet Corin for its flexibility and smart sensor-based safety features that support OR staff and equipment. Notably, it is the first connected operating table, offering biomed and service technicians access to service data and usage statistics for optimal performance.
Aruna Nayak, Managing Director at Getinge India, highlighted the significance of this launch for the Indian market. “Maquet Corin and Maquet Ezea mark a milestone in our commitment to providing advanced medical technology.
