Gland Pharma has officially announced the appointment of Shyamakant Giri as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective January 15, 2025. This decision, approved by the Board of Directors based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, will see Giri lead the company into its next phase of growth.
Giri, an experienced business leader with over 25 years in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, brings a wealth of expertise in business development, operations, and strategy across various global markets. He has held significant leadership roles in both Indian and multinational organisations, including his current position as President of Amneal Pharmaceuticals (India Business & Emerging Markets).
Meanwhile, Srinivas Sadu will continue to serve as the Executive Chairman of Gland Pharma, offering ongoing support to the company’s strategic objectives.
