Institute of Management Studies (IMS) Noida successfully organised a two-day health check-up camp on September 24 and 25, focusing on dental, eye, and general health screenings.
In a press statement on Thursday, the institute informed that the camp, conducted by IMS Law College with the support of Director General Prof. (Dr.) Vikas Dhawan, Head of Department Prof. Dr. Bhavesh Gupta, and Program Coordinator Assistant Prof. Govind Goyal, aimed to promote holistic well-being among students and faculty members.
The camp offered a wide array of health screenings, including cholesterol, complete blood count (CBC), blood sugar, blood pressure (BP), and parathyroid hormone (PTH) tests, alongside dental and eye assessments. A total of 480 tests were conducted over the two days, with an enthusiastic response from participants.
Prof. Dr. Vikas Dhawan expressed, “At IMS Noida, we prioritise the well-being of our students and faculty. This camp reflects our commitment to fostering a healthy lifestyle. By collaborating with leading healthcare providers, we ensure that our community is equipped with essential health services and the tools to prioritise their physical and mental health.”
Adding a fun dimension to the event, IMS Noida also hosted the Mr. & Miss Whistle Smile Contest, which encouraged students to maintain good oral hygiene through a lighthearted competition. Judged based on smile brightness and oral health, the contest raised awareness about dental care in an engaging manner.
The success of the event was ensured by the collaboration of healthcare partners Clove Dental, Max Hospital, and Sharp Sight, who provided specialised screenings in dental care, general health, and eye care, respectively.
