Q2 Results: Apollo Hospitals Net Profit Drops By 21.47% YoY, Revenue At Rs 4,251.1 Cr

On Thursday, Apollo Hospitals, the biggest hospital chain in India announced its consolidated results for the Second Quarter that ended on 30th September 2022. Apollo Hospitals in the second quarter has reported a dip of 12.5 per cent in its net profit of Rs 204 crores against its net profit of Rs 247.8 crores in the corresponding quarter last year.

On the other hand, the company’s consolidated revenue grew by 12.5 per cent year on year to be recorded at Rs 4,251.1 crores against the company’s corresponding quarter’s earnings in the previous year which stood at Rs 3,717.1 crores 

Apollo's EBITDA for the September quarter dropped by 8.7 per cent and stood at Rs 565.4 crore down from Rs 615 crore registered in the second quarter of the previous year.

Dr Prathap C Reddy, Chairman, Apollo Hospitals Group said, “The first half of FY23 is a clear sign that the pandemic is now behind us. However, we continue to be vigilant with appropriate precautions in all our facilities. We look forward to the second half of FY23 with renewed confidence and a stronger will to deliver the best of healthcare to the people of India and the world.” 

The company's stock closed 1.80 per cent lower on Thursday at Rs 4282.25 per share.
