The 16th Dr. Batra’s Positive Health Awards, supported by Bajaj Auto, celebrated remarkable individuals who have overcome severe illnesses and disabilities while making significant contributions to society. Held at the iconic TATA Theatre, NPCA Mumbai, the event was hosted by renowned actress Mandira Bedi and attended by over 1,000 prominent leaders across industries.
The evening brought stories of resilience to the forefront, with heartfelt performances by 'Swarrange,' a visually challenged orchestra, and a captivating fusion of kathak and bharatnatyam by Bengaluru’s Pasha Dance Group.
Honouring Positive Health Heroes
The jury panel, comprising Rajiv Bajaj, Dr. Mukesh Batra, Smt. Maneka Gandhi, Vivek Oberoi, and filmmaker R. Balki, meticulously selected winners from hundreds of inspiring applications nationwide.
Satyam, who received over 4 lakh votes, emerged as the People’s Choice Winner, followed by Suvarna Raj with 3 lakh votes and Anand Arnold with 2 lakh votes. Each winner was awarded the title of Positive Health Hero 2024, a certificate, a trophy, and a cheque of Rs1 lakh to support their ongoing journey of impact.
