Rainbow Children’s Hospital, an Indian chain of paediatric hospitals headquartered in Hyderabad has reported its earnings for the quarter that ended on 30th September 2022, the paediatric hospital chain has recorded a 32 per cent growth in revenue from operations quarter on quarter in Quarter Two of the Financial Year 2023(Q2FY23).
The revenue from operations for Q2FY23 stood at Rs 313 crores up from Rs 266.1 crores in the corresponding quarter last year, whereas the revenues grew 18 per cent year on year.
The hospital chain’s net profit or profit after tax for the September quarter was recorded at Rs 61.5 crores, reporting a 19.65 per cent increase in profits compared with Q2FY22 (Quarter Two Financial Year 2022) results which stood at Rs 45.3 crores.
EBITDA earnings for Q2FY23 of the hospital also soared with a quarter-on-quarter increase of 34.99 per cent and stood at Rs 109.5 crores up from Rs 89.2 crores in the second quarter last year.
Rainbow Hospitals is the largest paediatric hospital chain in the country, with a fleet of 15 hospitals in 6 cities across India and a capacity of 1,555 beds. The hospital chain got listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) in April this year.
The stock of Rainbow Hospitals traded at a growth rate of 3.01 per cent to close at Rs 728 a piece on the BSE on Thursday.
