Reliance General Insurance Company (RGICL) has introduced "Reliance Health Global," a healthcare policy designed to bring global healthcare within reach for Indians, the company informed in a press statement on Thursday. The policy extends coverage not only within India but worldwide, providing a seamless experience for individuals accustomed to a global lifestyle and seeking access to top-notch healthcare services and infrastructure, the statement from the company read.
Reliance Health Global boasts a range of unparalleled features, reshaping the health insurance landscape. Beyond its comprehensive coverage for overseas treatment, including critical illnesses like Cancer and Bypass Surgery, the policy stands out for its exceptional domestic coverage, the company stated.
The company further informed that in addition to planned hospitalisation, the policy encompasses travel, accommodation, and end-to-end Visa and Assistance Services, addressing emergencies such as Lost Passport or Emergency Cash. Notably, the policy sets itself apart with a substantial sum-insured coverage of up to USD 1 million, providing a sense of security for those seeking treatment abroad.
Reliance Global Health policy covers pre and post-hospitalization, arranging Second Opinions, and offering Accidental Rehabilitation, the company said.
Rakesh Jain, CEO of Reliance General Insurance, expressed enthusiasm about the launch, stating, "'Reliance Health Global' is a revolutionary healthcare policy that transcends borders. As India globalizes and many Indians travel abroad for work or leisure, it's imperative to alleviate their concerns about buying multiple policies separately for India and overseas. With its distinctive feature of unlimited sum insured domestically and a robust sum insured up to USD 1 million globally, we aim to set new standards in health insurance. Our commitment is to provide unwavering support and access to global healthcare excellence, ensuring the utmost peace of mind for our valued customers."
