Sancheti Hospitals Launches Advanced Orthocare Facility With Smart Ward Technology

The Sancheti Group of Hospitals, a name synonymous with excellence in orthopaedic care, has unveiled its most advanced facility yet—the Sancheti Advanced Orthocare Hospital. This 300-bed state-of-the-art medical centre features SMART, GREEN, and HITECH (SGH) infrastructure, setting a new benchmark in healthcare innovation and sustainability.

At the heart of this initiative is Pune’s first Smart Ward, powered by Dozee’s indigenous AI-based Remote Monitoring System (RMS) and Early Warning System (EWS). This cutting-edge technology enhances patient safety through contactless vitals monitoring and proactive early medical interventions.

The integration of Dozee’s RMS marks a transformative shift towards data-driven, preventive healthcare. The system allows non-ICU ward beds to be equipped with continuous vitals tracking, offering alerts for early detection of patient deterioration. Parameters such as heart rate, respiration rate, blood pressure, SPO2 levels, temperature, and ECG are monitored using AI-powered Ballistocardiography (BCG) technology.

Dozee’s Early Warning System (EWS) provides healthcare workers with critical alerts, predicting patient deterioration up to 16 hours in advance, as demonstrated in a landmark study published in Frontiers in Medical Technology.
