Acer India has inaugurated the Care For Life dialysis centre in Bengaluru as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. This facility, aimed at providing affordable and high-quality dialysis care, addresses the growing demand for kidney care services in the community. The centre was officially launched by Andrew Hou, President of Pan-Asia Pacific, Acer Inc., and Harish Kohli, President and Managing Director, Acer India.
Harish Kohli highlighted the initiative’s significance, stating, “This initiative is a testament to our unwavering commitment to bettering lives and communities. Through projects like the Care For Life dialysis centre, Visionova, Tree Plant drives, and Heal-On-Wheels, Acer strives to bridge gaps in healthcare and create a lasting impact on the environment and society.”
Acer India’s CSR efforts extend beyond the dialysis centre, including the Visionova initiative for children with Cortical Visual Impairment (CVI), which integrates advanced software and hardware solutions. The Heal-On-Wheels project, another cornerstone of Acer’s healthcare outreach, delivers mobile medical care to over 25,000 individuals in remote tribal areas, providing essential medicines and healthcare access.
Additionally, Acer has made significant contributions to afforestation, spearheading tree-planting initiatives that support rural communities through sustainable produce.
