The US-based Bessemer Venture Partners (BVP) and the World Bank's arm International Finance Corporation (IFC) are all set to sell about 30 per cent stake in India's dialysis chain, Nephroplus.
According to the reports in the media, several investors are considering selling their holdings in NephroPlus assessing the chain’s value to be between USD 200-250 million. Reportedly Mumbai-based investment bank Avendus is suggesting the investors for the stake sale.
Investcorp the largest shareholder owning about 40 per cent stake in NephroPlus is yet to decide on divesting its stake, a media report suggests. Other stakeholders include IIFL which holds about a 5-6 per cent stake.
As per reports, NephroPlus has an earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) of Rs 100 to 120 crore in FY24 and has raised about USD 104 million through multiple rounds.
NephroPlus operates more than 300 dialysis centres spanning across 180 cities in four different countries.
