Kintree, Mapmygenome Partner To Offer DNA Ancestry Test Kits To Users

Kintree, a Family Tree App in a strategic collaboration with Mapmygenome, will now offer DNA test kits to users to trace their ancestry (heritage)or ethnicity exploration, the company informed on Wednesday in a press statement. This will help the users connect with their roots and find out about their ancestor's ethnicity, the company stated.

Kintree offers an opportunity to explore your past (ancestry), connect with your present (extended family), and build for the future through DNA insights, photos, and videos, the company's statement read.

Vikram Lad, Co-Founder and COO at Kintree, explains, “With the availability of DNA test kits on the Kintree app, users can now conveniently access and order these kits. By using these DNA test kits, users can embark on a journey of self-discovery, uncovering their heritage, and ethnicity, and connecting with distant relatives they may have never known existed. It's an opportunity to delve into your genetic past and celebrate the rich tapestry of your family's history.”

The partnership between Kintree and Mapmygenome underscores a shared commitment to democratising DNA testing and making it accessible to anyone curious about their ancestry, the statement from the company said.
