Thyrocare has taken aboard SigTuple's AI-powered technology (SigTuple's AI100) to automate the manual microscopy process across its network. This is expected to significantly reduce the turnaround time, standardise reporting quality and increase efficiency multi-fold, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.

Thyrocare is in the process of expanding its presence across tier-2/3 cities and towns. Digital microscopy with artificial intelligence will be an enabler in a big way to do peer review on abnormal samples reporting and diagnosing several critical disorders like malarial infections, cancers, etc., the company said in the statement.
