Wockhardt Hospital Forays Into Genomics In Collab With HaystackAnalytics
Wockhardt Hospital Mumbai Central has entered into a partnership with HaystackAnalytics, a genomics healthtech company, working in the realm of precision genomics with the help of whole exome sequencing.
By partnering with HaystackAnalytics, Wockhardt Hospital - Mumbai Central aims to leverage the power of genomics to enhance patient care and improve health outcomes, the hospital said in a statement on Thursday.

The Genetic Health Plan is a consumer-centric wellness solution developed on a fully automated AI-based bioinformatics platform. This program is aimed at providing individuals with a circuit view and personalized approach to preventive healthcare, encompassing early detection, and future health risks through pathological and genomic tests.
It is a preventive healthcare genome test that helps analyze the whole exome, encompassing over 7000 genes, close to 9000 mutations, and important blood parameters to understand the underlying disease predispositions. The cost of the test is Rs 20,000, and for a limited time, the company said that it is offering it at an introductory price of Rs 15,000.
