Bank of Baroda, one of India's leading public sector banks, has taken a significant step in prioritising the emotional and mental health of its 75,000-plus employees and their families. The Bank has partnered with Truworth Wellness to expand and enhance its "Employee Assistance Program" (EAP), aiming to foster a supportive work environment and promote holistic well-being.
The enhanced EAP is designed to meet the diverse emotional wellness needs of the Bank’s multi-generational workforce, offering a comprehensive range of services to support employees' mental health and psychological well-being.
Key features of the upgraded program include:
Confidential and Personalised Support: Employees and their family members (spouses and children) will have access to free, one-on-one counselling sessions with professional experts for issues such as anxiety, stress, depression, and personal concerns.
Multiple Counseling Options: Counseling can be conducted face-to-face, via video calls, or through a 24/7 toll-free helpline, tailored to the unique needs of each individual.
24/7 Accessibility: The EAP provides round-the-clock helplines and virtual assistance for immediate support.
Digital Support: The "Wellness Corner" mobile app offers a range of features including mental wellness assessments, mood trackers, AI-based virtual therapy sessions, wellness programs, live webinars, and online chats.
Enhanced Tools: The program also includes personalised wellness dashboards, health trackers, and discounts on health services, along with tools for habit formation, goal setting, and tracking.
