Haystack Analytics Introduces Genomics-based Infectious Disease Test
HaystackAnalytics, a genomics-based diagnostics solution, incubated at IIT-Bombay, has joined hands with The LabExpert to introduce Infexn, a genomics-based infectious disease test in Mumbai, the company said in a statement on Thursday.
The Infexn test,a `Made in India’ proprietary technology-based test, is a genomics solution that utilises advanced data analytics for swift and precise detection of infectious diseases and can detect all bacteria and all fungi, and simultaneously identify major antimicrobial resistance genes empowering clinicians to use evidence-based approaches to diagnostics.
With a quick turnaround time of 12 hours and direct analysis from the sample, it outpaces the constraints of traditional microbial cultures, ensuring a swift turnaround time and delivering comprehensive results, the company said in a statement.
