MedLern, a digital learning solution provider for healthcare professionals, has announced a strategic partnership with Aster CMI Hospital in Bengaluru.

In a press statement on Tuesday, the company informed that the collaboration will introduce the Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) Program from the American Heart Association (AHA) to the hospital’s staff, aimed at advancing their life-saving skills and patient care capabilities.

The RQI Program will offer certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) to the healthcare workforce at Aster CMI Hospital. These certifications are essential for enhancing the readiness and effectiveness of hospital staff in critical care and emergencies.

Dr. Nitish Shetty, CEO of Aster Hospital India, remarked, “We are thrilled to partner with MedLern to implement the RQI Program for our staff. This comprehensive training, encompassing BLS, ACLS, and PALS, is set to significantly improve our team’s preparedness and performance in critical care scenarios. The newly established training space will provide a dedicated environment for personalised and flexible learning, ultimately enhancing patient outcomes and setting new standards in emergency response at Aster CMI Hospital.”

Deepak Sharma, Co-Founder and CEO of MedLern, added, “Well-trained healthcare staff with certifications in BLS and ACLS can dramatically impact a hospital’s effectiveness in managing critical care and emergency scenarios. Our training model, which offers personalised learning, is both time-efficient and cost-effective for hospitals.”

A new resuscitation training space was inaugurated at Aster CMI, attended by SGS Lakshmanan, Chief Operating Officer, and Shailesh Shetty Shibaroor, Sr. Consultant & HOD of the Emergency Department, among other hospital staff.

In an initiative for life-saving CPR training in India, Laerdal Medical and MedLern are offering AHA-certified HeartCode Complete CPR training at their Bengaluru training academy.
