Nephro Care India Opens New Renal Care Clinic In Alipurduar

As part of its expansion strategy, NCIL plans to establish 22 additional renal care centres by March 2026, with nine of these set to open in various districts of West Bengal

Nephro Care India  (NCIL) has launched a new renal care clinic in Alipurduar, West Bengal, aiming to address the growing need for advanced kidney care in the region.

The company in a press statement on Tuesday informed that the newly inaugurated clinic features diagnostic and pharmacy units to support kidney patients.

As part of its expansion strategy, NCIL plans to establish 22 additional renal care centres by March 2026, with nine of these set to open in various districts of West Bengal. This initiative is part of NCIL’s broader vision to bridge the gap between the demand and supply of dialysis services. The company is committed to setting up 300 comprehensive renal care clinics across India within the next 10-15 years to serve an estimated 2,20,000 new End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) patients annually.

Dr. Pratim Sengupta, Senior Nephrologist and MD of Nephro Care India, highlighted the urgent need for more dialysis centres, noting that the current capacity of around 5,000 centres, including 1,353 under the PMNDP, is insufficient to meet the increasing demand due to rising cases of diabetes and hypertension.

In addition to the new clinic, NCIL recently inaugurated the Vivacity Multispecialty Hospital in Madhyamgram, Kolkata, with an investment of approximately Rs 36.51 crore. The hospital, featuring a 100-bedded facility, will offer services across multiple disciplines, including an advanced renal transplant unit and a 30-bedded dialysis centre.
