Pristyn Care Partners With Insurers To Launch Cashless Treatment & Fast-Track Discharge Services In Non-Network Hospitals

New initiative simplifies healthcare payments and reduces discharge times, enhancing patient care experience

In a move aimed at revolutionising healthcare accessibility, Pristyn Care has introduced a pilot program that offers cashless treatment in non-network hospitals, aligning with the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India’s (IRDAI) "Insurance For All by 2047" initiative.

In a press statement on Tuesday, the company informed that this first-of-its-kind effort allows patients to receive cashless medical services outside their insurer’s network, minimizing financial strain and simplifying the insurance claim process.

In addition to the cashless service, Pristyn Care has launched a 45-minute Express Discharge Service at partner hospitals, reducing discharge wait times by up to 90 per cent. This service, introduced in collaboration with Aditya Birla Health Insurance and Park TPA, addresses a common pain point in the healthcare system by cutting the discharge process, which typically takes 6-8 hours, down to under an hour.

The partnership between Pristyn Care, Aditya Birla Health Insurance, and Park TPA ensures that once final discharge approval is received, patients will be discharged within 45 minutes. This program not only simplifies the insurance process but also enhances the overall patient experience by streamlining administrative procedures.

Commenting on the launch, Dr. Vaibhav Kapoor, Co-founder of Pristyn Care, said, “Our research indicates that 50% of patients experience delays during discharge due to insurance claims. With our Express Discharge Service and cashless options in non-network hospitals, we aim to reduce wait times and remove the burden of upfront payments. This initiative supports IRDAI’s vision of 'Insurance for All' and offers patients a smoother, more stress-free healthcare journey.”

Pristyn Care’s collaboration with insurers and third-party administrators (TPAs) is a forward-thinking step toward addressing financial challenges in healthcare, promising a more efficient and accessible medical experience across India.
