The Journey From Being A Doctor To An Entrepreneur

Recently in the capital, at the BW Healthcare World Healthcare Excellence - Summit & Awards 2022, Dr. Vaibhav Kapoor, Co – founder of Pristyn Care spoke to Mr. Harbinder Narula, CEO of BW Healthcare World and BW Wellbeing World about how becoming an entrepreneur is not really planned earlier.

Dr. Kapoor spoke extensively about how the journey of any entrepreneur is unplanned at first. He feels everyone is looking for convenience at this present day and age and there has been a tectonic shift in people’s expectations. However, according to him healthcare lagged behind in that area. “We firmly believed that healthcare needs convenience and quality treatment. Hence our goal was very clear. Every decision that we have taken at Pristyn Care is patient-oriented. We went ahead from others due to following this mantra and focusing entirely on it,” he stated. Talking about how becoming a unicorn company requires facing challenges and hurdles, he went on to say that a good reputation matters a lot.

From his perspective, “Behind every right decision that you take, there are at least 10 or 11 wrong decisions that you take. Normally, the world only sees the right thing that has been done, while internally to some extent you are failing every day. It is extremely hard and you have to be passionate about it.” He also mentioned that how he faced disappointments in his journey of failing and rising.

Dr. Vaibhav Kapoor also said that all the responsibilities of a patient are taken care of by Pristyn Care. They are always taking full responsibility of everything that they work on and they take all precautions.
