Truth, Transparency & Trust Critical For Healthcare: Dr Velumani

At BW Businessworld’s 2nd Annual Healthcare Summit and 40 under 40 awards ceremony in Bangalore, Dr Velumani, Creator, Thyrocare Technologies, Ltd. started his keynote address by talking about his journey through the domain of healthcare.

He went on to say, “My success is not my success, it is the success of computers. Computers have brought a lot of innovations in all industries. The internet enables us to run a laboratory remotely. IT (Information Technology), computers and AI (Artificial Intelligence) is what made me successful. I was into logistics which also played a huge role in my success.”

According to him all domains are like pyramids. All businesses can maximise their profits and this mantra needs to be understood. Profits should be scaled, losses should not be scaled. Profits shouldn’t come from the customer’s pocket but floor efficiencies.

He believes that those who win may lose, but those who make others win, never lose. “I was a very strong player in the healthcare industry but now I am actively involved in building a business which is still growing and is still related to being healthcare centric at a certain level.”

“Truth, Transparency and Trust are the 3 Ts that are critical for the healthcare industry. I would also like to point out that the best thing to enjoy is not costly at all, and that is nature,” he signed off.
