In a proactive move to address the rising concerns over air pollution and smog, Eye-Q, a leading chain of super-speciality eye care hospitals, has introduced an exclusive Eye Care package for its 579 employees and their families. This initiative is designed to promote preventive health measures and safeguard its workforce from the adverse effects of poor air quality.
Eye-Q’s workforce includes 258 female (44 per cent) and 321 male (56 per cent) employees across its extensive network. As part of the initiative, all employees will receive free eye checkups at any of Eye-Q’s hospitals. Additionally, they will be offered a 30 per cent discount on diagnostic tests, optical purchases, prescription glasses, contact lenses, and speciality eyewear. The package also includes a 10 per cent discount on branded frames and glasses, providing affordable access to high-quality eyewear.
Dr. Ajay Sharma, Founder and CMD of Eye-Q, spoke about the initiative, saying, "At Eye-Q, the health of our employees is of utmost importance, and with the increasing impact of smog on public health, we feel it’s essential to take proactive measures. This special eye care package allows our team and their families to access high-quality eye care services, ensuring their vision remains protected during such challenging times. We believe that the well-being of our employees is directly linked to the quality of care we provide to our patients, and we are committed to supporting them in every way possible.”
Beyond employees, the initiative extends to immediate family members, including spouses, parents, and children, who will also benefit from the same discounts on diagnostic tests and optical products. This comprehensive offering underscores Eye-Q’s commitment to the overall health and well-being of its team and their families.
